Clay Tournament Committee
Works with HGHBA membership and area building officials on matters regarding local building codes, ordinances and regulatory issues affecting the construction industry. Educates members on code issues as needed.

Golf Tournament Committee
The Golf Tournament Committee helps to plan and host the HGHBA Annual Golf Tournament. Our tournament is the best HBA tournament in the state featuring two courses amazing course in Myrtle Beach, SC and 256 golfers. Each year the Committee selects a local charity and donates the proceeds from our charity raffle tickets and golfer mulligans.

Home Builders Care
Gives back to the community by helping those who cannot help themselves. Projects have included building a home for a tornado victim, building wheel chair ramps, remodeling a youth home. Twice committee was awarded President Reagan’s C-Flag for Private Sector Initiatives. Also recognized as one of President Bush’s “Points of Light.”

Legislative Committee
Monitors all legislative activities, which may affect the well being of HGHBA members and the building industry on all levels of government. Subcommittees consist of the Realtor Association Liaison, Local Legislation, State Legislation, and National Legislation Committees.
